Trends mean a general direction in which something is developing or changing. With trends each generation get to change and switch up and be different and it keeps people up to date with whats popular or whats on the rise to becoming the next big thing.

Relevant means closely connected or appropriate to what is being done or considered.

Aperture means an opening, hole, or gap

Depth of Field means the distance between the nearest and the furthest objects that give an image judged to be in focus in a camera. This is important because it keeps focus in the camera and betters your photo just by being focused meaning you can shots with no problems.

White Balance means the color balance on a digital camera. Without a White Balance the color on a camera wouldn't balanced.

Shutter Speed means the time for which a shutter is open at a given setting.

ISO is short for International Organization for Standardization and that means equal.

Rules of Thirds is applied by aligning a subject with the guide lines and their intersection points, placing the horizon on the top or bottom line, or allowing linear features in the image to flow from section to section.
